A program is only as good as it's coaches, so we'd like you to meet some of ours...

Phil Togno is back with the Blizzard organization and is serving as it's Hockey Director. The leadership and experience of this former Hockey Coach of the Year from perennial powerhouse Jefferson High School will be a great influence on every team in our Blizzard organization.

Blizzard Coaches

• Gary Golczewski (bantam/midget coach)
  • 2009-2010 Hackettstown Harleys Junior Head Coach.
    - compiled a 34-8-5 record in the IJHL Super Elite League this season.
  • 2007-2009 Head Coach NJ Kings Junior Team out of Princton Sports Center
  • Former Head Coach NJ Lightning Peewee
    - compiled 52-2 record in NJYHL and Atlantic District.
  • Head Coach of NJYHL 18U AA which
    - compiled a record of 19-1
  • NJ Rockets Head Coach
    - took the U16 and the '91 teams to Atlantic District Tournament.
  • Coached the Pope John Lions to its first ever birth in NJSIA Tournament.
  • Player experience:
    • Drafted 150th overall in 1991 NHL Entry Draft by the Boston Bruins
    • Two Time New England ALL-American at Trinity - Pawling School, NY.
• Ryan Sevean (midget coach)
  • 2005-2010 Newton/LenapeValley High School Varsity Coach
    - Named one of the Star Ledger Coaches of the Year
    __for the West Division in Sussex County this year.
    
  • 2004-2005 JV coach of Newton/Lenape Valley High School
  • For Three seasons he coached at various levels for the Blizzard Travel Club
  • 2003-2004 Mt Olive High School Assistant Varsity coach
  • 2003-2004 Pocono Lightning Midget A Travel Coach
  • 2001-2003 Pope John JV Coach.
    - In his 1st year they had their 1st .500 season
    - The following year they compiled a 21-0-1 record and won the League Championship.
